As holiday cards have started to trickle in, I can FINALLY unleash all the family photos I've been holding back on showcasing on my blog. I had so many great family sessions this Fall and it was great to kick start my season of family shoots with this wonderful, spunky and sarcastic family! I laughed a ton and I loved being out of the city for a bit to take in all the greatness of these leaves!
You've seen the sneak peak but here are some more that I simply couldn't resist from sharing.
During my pre-shoot consultations, I always ask my families to bring anything of sentimental value that they would like me to incorporate into their shoot. Susanne brought her Uncle's hat that she had inherited.
On more than several occasion during this shoot, I joked with Suzanne and Gerald that their kids were modeling for me. I felt like I was taking Ella and Kai's senior photos. I also wish I had that kind of fashion sense when I was a kid! Ella picked out her own outfit and I have to say, I want to know if her pants and her jacket come in my size. I'm not kidding.
...and with every family shoot, there comes a photo where the kids don't listen, they are being goofy, and Mom and Dad forget I'm there...and it is EVERYTHING! I live for these shots!
